Healing Arts
Healing ARts
Healing Arts is some what of a new concept to most martial artist. The reason, is most of our intention was to become a fighter, spar, go into the ring, and maybe become a well rounded person after injuries. As far as becoming a healthy person, in mind, in body, in heart and in spirit; rarely did I ever hear this as an outcome in all the years I have been providing instruction since 1982.
Healing arts combine a holistic approach incorporating the energies of the mind, the body, the heart, the soul, and finally the spirit. This approach is a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Traditional Practices from Masters from Wu Tang and Shaolin and Wing Chun. Along with American Indian practice of healing.
My instructor-Sifu is Shane Lear from Delphos, Ohio for the Dayanquan Gong Fu Wild Goose Qi-Gong: The Chinese word qiqong translates as "energy work" or "energy skill". Qi refers to the life force that flows through the body. This is not a imaginary force, but a real energy that can be cultivated to assist in providing a healthy body and mind. The cultivation and balancing of this energy or life force is at the heart of Traditional Chinese Medicine. For more information on the Dayan Arts visit:

Kiai Jitsu:
Kiai Jitsu Sound Theory recognizes the existence of Five Elements and Five Energies that form all phenomena. Kiai Jitsu Healing Method combines five elements, five energies, five directional movements and five sounds. In most cases Kiai Jitsu approach to healing is very specific to areas of emotion, thought patterns, body posture and addressing the injured area of the body; joints, organs, as well as aging. I learned a portion of this art from my instructor GM Song Park of Kiaido.
Navajo People; Healing Traditional Practices - most of the teachings that I share are related to various published articles, research papers, thesis and dissertations from various institution on or near the Navajo Nation. At times i will use some of these practices to assist in the journey of my students. For more information email me at chesterdbrownjr@gmail.com
